Balrampur (Uttar Pradesh), April 5:Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the revered Mata Paateshwari Shakti Peeth in Balrampur district on the auspicious occasion of Ashthami during Vasantik Navratri. His visit marked a spiritually significant day as he took part in various rituals and religious ceremonies at the temple.
According to an official statement from the Uttar Pradesh government, the Chief Minister offered traditional prayers to Maa Durga, performing all rituals with devotion at the holy Shakti Peeth. The temple, a well-known center of faith in the region, witnessed a spiritually charged atmosphere during his visit.
After completing the religious ceremonies, Yogi Adityanath visited the gaushala (cow shelter) within the temple premises. There, he offered jaggery to the cows, symbolizing respect and care for animals in line with Hindu traditions.
In a heartwarming gesture, the Chief Minister also interacted with children gathered at the temple. He distributed toffees and chocolates, spreading joy among the young devotees.
The visit was part of his continued engagement with cultural and religious activities across Uttar Pradesh, especially during key Hindu festivals.
