New Delhi, Feb 5 (PTI) – Ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections on Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called on the city's voters to make their voices heard by casting their votes. In a message shared on X, Modi specifically addressed first-time young voters, encouraging them to actively participate in the democratic process.

In his post, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of prioritizing voting, urging citizens to keep the motto "Pahle matdaan, phir jalpaan" (First vote, then eat) in mind. He described the elections as a "festival of democracy" and encouraged voters to approach the polls with enthusiasm.

Voting for all 70 seats in the Delhi Assembly is scheduled to take place on Wednesday. Modi has been leading the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) high-octane campaign, which is focused on challenging the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the current ruling party in Delhi since 2015.
