
Today, the Udhampur Police launched a "Bharat Darshan" tour for 87 young people as part of the Civic Action Programme (CAP), starting from the District Police Lines (DPL) in Udhampur. The official launch ceremony was attended by DIG Udhampur–Reasi Range, Sarah Rizvi (IPS), along with SSP Udhampur, Amod Ashok Nagpure. As part of this initiative, the participating youth will visit Delhi and Bengaluru, where they will have the opportunity to experience India's rich cultural heritage, national institutions, and diverse traditions. The tour aims to promote national integration, foster a sense of unity in diversity, and strengthen the spirit of patriotism among the young participants. Police officials stated that the "Bharat Darshan" tour is designed to provide exposure to different parts of the country, broaden the outlook of young people, and encourage positive engagement through educational and cultural interactions. The initiative was praised as a meaningful step towards youth empowerment and nation-building under the Civic Action Programme.
