New Delhi, February 13 Zinc prices fell by 65 paise to Rs 327.95 per kg in futures trading on Friday, as speculators reduced their exposure, driven by negative signals from the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for March delivery declined by 65 paise, or 0.2 per cent, to Rs 327.95 per kilogram in a trading volume of 93 lots.
Analysts said that the reduction in positions by participants, due to decreased demand from consuming industries in the physical market, primarily weighed on zinc prices.
