New Delhi, February 10 Zinc prices fell by 45 paise to Rs 327.70 per kg in futures trading on Tuesday, as speculators reduced their exposure, driven by negative signals from the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for March delivery declined by 45 paise, or 0.14 percent, to Rs 327.70 per kilogram in a trading volume of 89 lots.
Analysts said that the reduction in positions by participants, due to weakened demand from consuming industries in the physical market, primarily weighed on zinc prices.
