Mumbai, April 10 Singer Palash Sen has released a new song and discussed how, in the fast-paced environment of consuming short-form content, he has created something that requires a lot of "patience."
Palash posted on Instagram, sharing a glimpse from his new music video and stating that the Euphoria audience would enjoy it more than "those who consume shallow content."
"It's story time... There's a brand new tale from the desert that you can watch now. In this era of fast-paced short-form content consumption, we've tried to create something that requires a lot of patience," he wrote.
He added: "We trust that you will have the patience to watch and enjoy it, because the Euphoria audience is different from those who consume shallow content. Please watch, enjoy, and let me know. I will reply. It's not just a song or a film; it's an emotion. Welcome!"
Palash founded his band, Euphoria, while in college. He started composing songs from his college days and wrote them in English. His first composition is believed to be 'Heaven on the Seventh Floor', which was a tribute to his college hostel room on the seventh floor.
Euphoria's first release, 'Dhoom Pichuck Dhoom,' was a major commercial success and received rave reviews from critics worldwide.
Euphoria went on to become a renowned Indian band, with five successful studio albums, one compilation, and seventeen music videos. Palash's Bollywood debut came with Filhaal..., directed by Meghna Gulzar, which also starred Tabu and Sushmita Sen. Palash also composed an eight-and-a-half-minute song for the film.
Recently, Palash met with veteran actor Anupam Kher during a flight, calling him a "national treasure" and an enduring source of inspiration.
Palash posted a picture on Instagram, sitting next to Anupam as they posed for pictures, and wrote: "30,000 feet in the air and in the best company I could have asked for! I shared a flight with the legendary @anupampkher today. I have met him so many times, but this time, the fan in me finally asked him for a picture," he wrote in the caption.
He added: "I am a true admirer, and I call him Sir. He is a teacher in many ways – as an actor, a director, and a human being. It's truly inspiring to see his energy and humility. He has always been this simple man – extremely intelligent and unbelievably warm."
Palash also praised Anupam's directorial venture, Tanvi The Great, saying that it further elevated his respect for the veteran actor. He urged audiences who haven't seen the film to watch it, calling it a must-watch.
