Mumbai, April 6 IHG Hotels & Resorts announced on Monday the signing of a management agreement with Yashvi Greenco LLP to introduce a 110-key Holiday Inn Express Surat Gauravpath in Gujarat.
The hotel, scheduled to open in 2029, will mark IHG's first signing in Surat, the global hospitality company said in a statement.
"India remains a key strategic growth market for IHG, and we have ambitious plans to further strengthen our presence in high-growth secondary and emerging commercial cities," said Sudeep Jain, Managing Director, South West Asia, IHG Hotels & Resorts.
IHG currently operates 51 hotels across six brands in India and has a pipeline of 89 hotels slated to open over the next 3-5 years.
