April 11, New Delhi – Union Minister of Commerce & Industry, Piyush Goyal, held a virtual meeting with his Bahraini counterpart, Abdulla Bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce.
During the virtual meeting, Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal welcomed the regional ceasefire and emphasized the need to ensure predictable trade flows through maritime and other modes in the region.
The minister also conveyed India's solidarity with Bahrain, condemned recent attacks on vital installations, and thanked Bahraini authorities for supporting Indian citizens in the region. Both sides also reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening economic ties.
