Mumbai, April 8 JBM Auto announced on Wednesday that its 1,282 electric buses have been registered across five states, accounting for a 24% market share in the recently concluded fiscal year.

The electric buses have been registered in Telangana, Delhi, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Assam, expanding the company's presence in both public transport and private transport sectors, including luxury coaches and regular buses.

The company's domestically developed, self-reliant e-mobility platform caters to both governments and corporations, as well as fleet operators across India.

With a strong order book exceeding 10,000 electric buses, JBM Auto stated that it is well-positioned to lead India's transition towards 60% EV penetration in the bus segment by 2030.

"FY26 has been a transformative year for us. Our emergence as the market leader in FY26 underscores JBM EV's technological edge and operational excellence," said Nishant Arya, Vice Chairman and MD, JBM Auto Ltd and Chairman JBM Electric Vehicles (P) Ltd.

JBM Auto has a dedicated, integrated electric bus manufacturing facility with a capacity to produce up to 20,000 buses annually, offering a complete range of e-buses, including city, intercity, luxury coach, school, staff, regular, and special purpose vehicles.
