
April 03, New Delhi: The Italian government has extended the temporary cut in fuel excise taxes, which was originally scheduled to expire on April 6.
Following a meeting of the Council of Ministers, the Italian Economy Minister announced that the reduction in excise duties, which is already in effect, will now continue until May 1.
The new decree-law, with an allocation of approximately €500 million, also includes measures for agricultural businesses, extending a 20 percent tax credit to support the sector.
