
March 19, New Delhi – The 11th edition of the India-Seychelles joint military exercise, 'LAMITIYE', is currently taking place at the Seychelles Defence Academy.
The exercise focuses on enhancing joint capabilities in unconventional operations in semi-urban environments and peacekeeping missions. It aims to effectively counter emerging threats while strengthening interoperability between the two armed forces.
Officials say the exercise highlights the deepening defence cooperation between India and Seychelles, reaffirming their shared commitment to peace, stability, and security in the Indian Ocean Region.
