April 05, New Delhi: Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan addressed the closing session of a global conference of meditation leaders at Bharat Mandapam, emphasizing the importance of mindfulness and inner strength in today's fast-paced world.

He stressed that listening to others and practicing meditation can bring spiritual and mental peace, urging people to dedicate at least 15 minutes daily to meditation.

The Vice President noted that while modern life is characterized by constant activity, meditation helps keep the mind fresh, reduces stress, and builds inner willpower, which he added has been a key factor in India's growth in recent years.
