Doda, April 1: A training program for Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs) and Panchayat Election Booth Officers (PEBOs) was held at the Doda Town Hall to ensure a smooth revision of the Panchayat electoral rolls, effective April 1, 2026.
Officials, including Ashraf Parvez and Din Mohammad Afaqi, instructed the trainees on the importance of accuracy, transparency, and adherence to deadlines. The period for filing claims and objections extends until April 29, 2026, with disposal by May 8 and the final publication of the electoral roll on May 15. Special camps will assist voters at polling booths from April 4-26.
