In Kerala, the Kollam Vigilance Court has granted bail to Head Priest Thantri Kandararu Rajeevaru in cases involving the misappropriation of gold at Sabarimala. Thantri has been in judicial custody in two separate cases related to the theft of gold from the Sabarimala Temple. He is listed as the 13th accused in the case involving the theft of gold from the temple's doorways, and the 16th accused in a separate case concerning irregularities in the temple idols. He was arrested last month by the Special Investigation Team, which is conducting the investigation under the supervision of the Kerala High Court.
