
Mumbai, March 16 Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde left for Delhi on Monday evening, sources said.
However, they did not specify the reason for his visit. It is also unclear whether Shinde will meet with top BJP officials.
Shinde is expected to meet with Shiv Sena MPs in the national capital, where the Parliament session is currently in session.
He is likely to return on Tuesday to attend the ongoing budget session of the Maharashtra legislature.
