
New Delhi, April 10 Copper futures rose by Rs 6.70 to Rs 1,212.45 per kg on Friday due to increased spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for May delivery increased by Rs 6.70, or 0.56 percent, to Rs 1,212.45 per kilogram, with a trading volume of 548 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to increased speculation by participants.
